All Klein & Wilson‘s partners were elected (in different years) to serve as the chair of the Business Litigation Section of the Orange County Bar Association (“OCBA”), the largest section of the OCBA with over 800 members. This section educates business trial lawyers on key topics relevant to their practice. Michael S. LeBoff previously served as chair of the OCBA’s Banking and Lending Section. Gerald A. Klein presently serves as chair of OCBA’s Solo and Small Firm Section. This section educates attorneys on how to operate small law practices.

Mark B. Wilson has been on the Board of Directors of Loyola Law School since 2016. He was appointed a Special Deputy Prosecutor of the California State Bar in 2016 and prosecutes State Bar Complaints when the Bar has a conflict of interest.

Mr. LeBoff is the Co-Chair of the Commercial and Business Litigation Committee, which is the largest committee in the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation.

CLA is a nonprofit organization and the new home of the Sections of the State Bar of California. The Sections maintain members’ expertise in their various fields of law, expand their professional contacts, and serve the profession, the public and the legal system.

Both Mr. Wilson and Mr. Klein served on the Board of Directors of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association (“OCTLA”) for several years. OCTLA is the most prominent plaintiffs’ bar in the county. OCTLA’s mission is to protect the rights of people who have been harmed by others and protect everyone’s right to a jury trial. Mr. Klein served for 6 years on the board of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers (ABTL), which is the leading bar group representing business interests. Mr. Wilson is presently serving on the ABTL board.

Both Mr. Klein and Mr. Wilson are members of the Orange County Bar Foundation Society of Fellows which raises funds to keep at-risk youth out of jail and in school, through education, counseling, and mentoring. Mr. Klein and Mr. Wilson also serve on the board of Small Angels Foundation, a self-funded charitable organization that makes monetary gifts to Orange County residents in need.

Klein & Wilson supports the work of Veterans Legal Institute, an organization that provides pro bono legal assistance to homeless, at-risk, disabled and low-income current and former service members to eradicate barriers to housing, healthcare, education, and employment and foster self-sufficiency.
