Successor Liability Case and Breach of Contract
Klein & Wilson represented one of the largest herb growers in the world. In a dispute with a vendor who claimed the client was a successor in interest to another entity, the vendor claimed it was owed approximately $1 million in receivables. Klein & Wilson was able to prove that under the terms of the contract the plaintiff had with the alleged predecessor, the contract expired under its own terms and the firm received a defense judgement for the client.
