Linda R. Romero
Firm Administrator
Senior Paralegal

Mrs. Romero graduated from the paralegal program at Rancho Santiago College in 1991 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1997 from the University of Phoenix. She has worked in the legal profession for more than 30 years.  Mrs. Romero is an adjunct faculty member for the paralegal program at Fullerton Junior College, where she has taught the following classes: Introduction to Paralegal Studies; Law Office Management; Computers in the Law Office; and Ethics. She is a member of the Orange County Paralegal Association and the National Notary Association. Mrs. Romero handles high end legal projects done by high priced associates at other law firms. In 2007, she prepared, with minimal revisions by the firm’s attorneys, a motion for summary judgment, which the court granted. The amount of money in controversy was not very significant and having Mrs. Romero draft the pleadings saved the client thousands of dollars. As the firm administrator, Mrs. Romero is responsible for the firm’s accounts receivables and accounts payables, and information and systems technology.

Nicky Gleason
Senior Paralegal

Miss Gleason graduated college in 2002 and has worked for Klein & Wilson since 2003. Miss Gleason serves as one of Klein & Wilson’s trial paralegals. Miss Gleason’s substantial legal experience combined with an impressive knowledge of computer technology and trial presentation systems gives Klein & Wilson the superior edge over adversaries at trial. A trial is a fast-moving event where information spread out over thousands of documents must be accessed in just a few seconds for effective cross-examination or to address concerns a court may raise. Miss Gleason’s mastery of trial presentation and document control systems has been an indispensable element of the firm’s trial success. In 2009, Miss Gleason was the trial paralegal in a $10 million trial that resulted in Gerald Klein receiving Trial Lawyer of the Year from the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association. It was Miss Gleason who found some of the critical evidence which led to devastating cross-examination of a key witness who had presented surprise testimony at trial and was undermined by his own documents, which Miss Gleason found in a matter of seconds. Miss Gleason also adds another element to trial presentations few law firms – even very large ones – can do in-house: computer graphics. Miss Gleason has created extremely effective and low-cost computer graphics at a fraction of the cost outside vendors would charge. Miss Gleason’s ability to work closely with the trial attorney and revise her graphics until they are perfect makes for an effective and low-cost way to create animation and charts for trial. Miss Gleason’s knowledge of Excel programs and her understanding of how law firms work has enabled her to create spreadsheets and bar graphs which conclusively establish over billing by law firms. She does much of the work an associate at a large firm would do, but at a fraction of the cost – and she does the work much better. If these skills were not enough, Miss Gleason is also multi-lingual, speaking English, French, Dutch, and Italian. She is also fluent in Canadian since she lived there for almost 10 years. It is not just Klein & Wilson who is impressed with Miss Gleason’s skills. She routinely receives unsolicited offers from other law firms – including adversaries of Klein & Wilson – who want to take advantage of the special skills she brings to every case.

Kirsten Zell
Paralegal

Ms. Zell graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree and received a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology in 2010 from UC Riverside. Ms. Zell has worked for Klein and Wilson since July 2011.

Andrea J. F. Ramirez
Paralegal

Mrs. Ramirez is originally from the Portland, Maine area and graduated from college in 1985. In 1992 Mrs. Ramirez obtained her Paralegal Certificate from Coastline Community College. Mrs. Ramirez joined the Klein & Wilson team in 2005. She has been in the legal field for over 25 years. Mrs. Ramirez assists in preparing pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and correspondence. She supervises calendaring and scheduling. Courts have commented repeatedly in open court that Klein & Wilson complies with rules which many firms simply ignore. Mrs. Ramirez is the person responsible for these accolades.

Rachel Brown
Office Manager

Ms. Brown is originally from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and has worked in the legal field for over 24 years. Spanning four states, Georgia, Colorado, Texas, and California, Ms. Brown has held every position possible in a law firm, excluding the actual practice of law. Ms. Brown holds high standards in regard to the law - so much so that in 2008 she was invited to the United States White House to participate in President Bush's roundtable addressing advocacy for children in the social services system.  As the office manager, Ms. Brown oversees the day to day operations of Klein & Wilson.
